Full height corner kitchen larder/unit

In process of looking for a new kitchen and Really like the idea of a full height corner unit to maximise storage space. Have seen a walk in corner pantry at Wickes which seems great but is a bit too big and overpowering in our kitchen, however we would like to acheive simething similar. Was wondering if anybody has one and if so any advice/pictures/benefits/drawbacks etc. someone had suggested just turning a normal cupboard by 45 degrees but we would lose so much corner space it does not seem practical. If anybody knows any companies that make something like this would be great to have details.

  • Rather than using a unit, you could get the side panels built from decor panels or plasterboard, but leaving the doorway the right size for a larder door that matches your kitchen units. This would leave the whole corner space available for shelves etc. A good carpenter could probably make a great job of this.
