There is no such thing as a mobile MOT station. However, as long as the bike is boked in it is legal to ride it to an MOT station without a current MOT. He will, of course, need to have insurance cover.0

One of our local bike shops will collect and return a bike using a trailer or van for £20.

MOTs can only be carried out at approved premises but most bike MOT places i know of will collect/deliver for a small fee or as others have said as long as its insured then it can be driven to a pre-booked MOT legally0

All bike shops I've known of (I used to ride scooters before I passed car test) have a vans/trailers for collection/delivery of bikes.0
