Are these all tactics or is it just simply a coincidence and it has been sold?

    Everyone here would just be guessing.

    Estate Agents do all sorts of games, but im not sure they would go to all that hassle just to sell one property... you might move on in the meantime and find another property as you think its gone, it could be a bluff but i would be surprised if it was.

    I agree that if it is showing as sold it probably is.

    Also does your friend just sit be their window all day, every day? They could have gone in two weeks ago for all your friend knows!
