Luxury all inclusive August holiday

Options
Want an amazing holiday for 10/14 nights, what do you think the budget should be? I've had a brief look at Morocco and Egypt- 1500 each seems brochure price average wherever you go in the Thompson brochure. Where else should I look? Any recommendations?

Not sure about the budget but for location, service, activities and pretty much everything else you should consider the Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Egypt in August is seriously hot. You would need to be very careful taking children there at that time of year. Its when the Egyptian would head to cooler climates. x

I think you should turn this around and decide (then tell us ;)) what your budget actually is.

Do you have no preference for any particular destination at all?

What do you want out of your holiday?
Do you just want to lay by the pool and eat & drink?
Or do you want to go out and see any local sites of interest?
Do you want pampering (e.g. spa facilities)?
Do you want a child-free holiday?
    etc etc

I think 3,000 is a reasonable amount for 2 people

Ideally, child free, no queues for food or sun beds, spa would be a bonus- I just think at that price there should be some perks lol

I've done the whole run down at 7am to get a subbed for the day and would just rather not do it again! I'm happy to just chill by the pool but not sure the boy wouldn't be bored so might have to compromise:p

I don't have any preference really, just somewhere hot :)

    Thanks

If you're looking at Egypt look at the Sensatori.

I've been in July, I wouldn't go in July/August again.

I'm going to the GBP esmerelda in the Dom rep this year, amazing reviews.
  • For a properly luxurious all inclusive £1500 sounds fair. It depends how good the all inc is, and for that I'd expect 5* (going by per person, if £1500 for a couple I wouldn't be expecting too much)

I dont think its enough for proper "luxury"

Luxury is going to set you back £300 per couple per night easily just for the room.

ie 10 nights BB in a superior seaview room at the Four Seasons in Sharm is going to set u back nearly $4500

If you want to include meals and drinks then probably an extra £150 per day on top.
For £1500 pp All Inc with flights then imo you can expect "nice"
