Ovo Energy Grrr
Options
Hi
Last year around October time i swapped from British Gas to Ovo Energy then i got a call from British gas just after my cooling off period to say then will give me £200 credit if i comeback to them, £100 of my 1st bill which they have and £100 off my next quarter bill. I received letters through the post saying i needed to pay this and that to settle my ovo account off in feb/march around this time i received letters from british gas saying ovo would'nt let british gas take over my account until i settled up, which i did, then yesterday i receive another letter from ovo saying i owe them another £198.39. On top of the £430 bill from british gas i recieved on wednesday for the quarter, i wish i had'nt swapped, now i've got to phone british gas to find out when i cancelled and resigned and ovo to find out when i signed up and cancelled and what dates they swapped. As well as work 12 hour days 5 days a week, my head is mashed.
Has anyone else had the same problem or knows of a solution for me?
Many thanks
Best regards
Glenn

Have you been readings your meters monthly over the winter and supplying the readings to OVO and to BG? If so the bills are correct, you have presumably been underpaying and now need to catch up. The solution is simply to be more frugal with your energy. If you have not been reading your meters regularly it's possible one of the bills is incorrect.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
