P & O Ferries have just launched a promotion for travel upto 12th July.
£ 32 return for car + max. 9 passengers to go out any day and return before midnight the next day ("Subject to availability on selected sailings. This offer excludes travel on 25-26May 07 & 02-03Jun 07.")
Book at https://www.poferries.com using promo code "shortbreak". I tested this for June 18/19 and it was available, although you may not get it for sailings at peak times.
This is a very good price imo.
