    Wilkos also very good, I got my toilet brush from ASDA for 50p but from Wilkos I got dustpan and brush 84p, tin opener 44p, wooden spoon 37p

    Take photos before you've unpacked - inside of the oven (if supplied), any marks on the walls, threadbare carpets - will make it so much easier on move out if the LL/LA's a bit of an !!!!. Send a disc with copies with your signed inventory. Unpack plates first and get a takeaway on your first night, you won't want to cook and it will be a good celebration!

    Oh, and meal plan and keep an eye out for online shopping deals - we found quite a few £10 off £50 deals for new customers, signed up in each other's names and got a bit of cheap shopping.
