Ebay help appreciated

Hi to all the ebay experts out there I am after a little help on two items that I won if anyone could spare a few minutes

The first seller was dragging his heals with sending me the item and after a hassle of a time with him he just ignored my messages and claimed he had a bereavement in the family so I finally opened a case in the resolution centre which I won and the seller was meant to have refunded me by the 19th but he hasn't and I am unsure what do to next since he is ignoring my messages and I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually contact ebay directly.

The second case the seller responded to my message to tell me he was in hospital and would dispatch the item as soon as possible – but with this one it says “payment pending” on ebay and in paypal it says that the email address he has is unregistered and so the payment is unclaimed. I tried to contact the seller but it has been five days since then and he/she hasn't responded. Do I just cancel the paypal payment?

Hello

On the first one you are guaranteed to get your money back its just a matter of time since paypal has a guarantee. They have given the seller the chance to either send or refund you after a certain ammount of time usually about 7 days ebay will automatically refund you even if the seller doesn't have the money in his paypal.

On the second one just cancel the payment and then message him letting him no what you have done.

I was starting to get a bit concerned about the refund since on ebay it says "awaiting sellers response" so nice to know that I am guaranteed a refund.

And for the second I will just do what you advised.

Forgot to ask this the other day but will eBay know my refund hasn't been processed or do I need to contact them about not receiving a refund?
