I'm afraid if parking a car is involved it will cost you the earth before you do anything else.0

If it rains: http://www.treasureparks.com/
Otherwise get a road map and decent sat nav and look for any road that heads to the coast. It'll probably end in a really nice picturesque cove or harbour with parking charges!
I really liked the beach at Sennen Cove. The man without a signature.0 -
My favourite place! Trebah is lovely, things can be expensive but tesco vouchers can be good! Eden Project, The Lizard, Seal Sanctuary, Crantock Beach, Portreath, Heligan... If you want I have an old holiday pack I could send you, just pm me! Enjoy your time there!0

Depends on what you like doing, if the weather is good there are plenty walks on the Lizard ideal with a dog, walk from Mullion or go down to Lizard village and park on the green which is free though they do ask for a donation, from there you can walk to Kynance Cove, round Lizard point the most southerly point in the UK to Church Cove and back to the village.
Or go to Coverack and walk round the coastal path there, alternatively there is Falmouth, Penzance, the Minack Theatre, St. Ives and even Lands End (very commercialized now) all with easy reach.0 -
Roskillys - http://www.roskillys.co.uk/ Really lovely place, about 20 mins from Mullion. Loads of ice cream flavours to choose from, decent food, free parking and walks around their ponds and farm all free too.
I recommend a good sat nav (or a good map reader!) too as the small roads on the Lizard can be confusing.
I find it really useful to look on Google StreetView before setting off anywhere. It can give you a good idea whether you'll like it or not.
I also recommend Trebah Garden near Falmouth. Trebah accepts all dogs, which is a rarity!
Falmouth itself is nice, there's a few beaches just outside the town and the town itself has normal shops and tourist shops.
Mousehole, near Penzance, is my favourite village. If you can find a space to park on the coast road it is free, otherwise the car parks are about £3 for all day. There's a nice little harbour beach, a few cafes and shops. A lot of people park in Newlyn and walk along the coast path as the view is so lovely.
Other nice places:
Cadgwith
Gunwalloe (Dollar Cove only with a dog - it's the rocky one closest to the car park)
Marazion (St Michael's Mount is here. You can visit the island without paying, but have to pay to visit the castle)
Porthcurno is probably my favourite beach, but watch out for the undercurrent (it does have lifeguards)
Sennen, near Land's End, is lovely, but does get very busy#TeamCarter

The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is great. We also went on a tour around the Goonhilly Earth Satellite Station, which was interesting.0

List of dog-friendly beaches http://www.cornwall-beaches.co.uk/dog-friendly
Most of the large, family friendly beaches in Cornwall do not permit dogs during the summer months.#TeamCarter
