I was looking at my parents' house and discovered that a previous owner (40 years ago) had been killed, with his wife, in a car accident.
It's a lot harder to research house histories than family/genealogy..... so of limited interest unless you've got an unusual house, which few have.
Thanks for the links though.0 -

Great, I hope silly things like this become more widely known, then I might be able to buy an amazing #13 house that has had a mass murder take place in it and get it a knock down price due to all the crazy people who think any of that matters!
Only trouble is I might need to sell it one day..0 -

I can't get mine to show up!
. Next door have the census results from 1901 which was a surprise to me as we thought ours was built in 1905- we're semi detached so they must have been built at the same time!

Just done my walk score and it was 75. It brought up a couple of places within 0.25 miles and I have no idea where they are.
I'm moving next week and my new house has a score of 45. The shopping centre is only about a mile away though so in my book that's very walkable.Starting mortgage balance 22/04/2013 £71,250
Overpayments to date £410
Current mortgage balance £70,6500
