transfer times

just made a transfer from nationwide flex acc to 1st direct it happened almost immediatly and was visible on 1st directs site.
transfered the money back to nationwide and at the moment still not visible?

is this normal, been fairly new to internet banking thought i would ask

    The committed arrival time is end of next business day. Though in many cases, online transfers happen at lot faster.

    faster payments are usually within 2 hours but worst case - no longer than 24.

    Worst case is end of next business day.

    Though the banks/BSs have the right to block any payment for longer if their Security folks feel they need longer to investigate. I haven't heard that this has happened to anyone.
