Buy it/sell it for you service for eBay ?

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
I have seen so many problems and scams re: eBay that I am really reluctant to join and buy anything.

Does eBay (or anyone else) run a reputable service whereby they deal with all the hassles and scams etc for a set percentage/price on top and if there are probs I would get money back guarantee with no hassle ?

    I am not aware of anything at all like that- probably best to only buy from physical high street shops where you can inspect the goods if you are unsure about staying safe online.

    Ebay is perfectly safe as long as you use a bit of common sense and trust your instincts if something doesn't feel right..

    There are a number of companies that do it but you'll probably only end up with 50% of the sale price once it's done.

    There are scams and other problems, mostly ones that get highlighted on here. Most people buy and sell on Ebay without a problem, there are certainly higher risks than others. I've sold on Ebay for over ten years and had no more than a handful of problems in over 30,000 transactions.

    The rights are all with the buyer, as a buyer you really cannot lose provided you use Paypal.

    That is not the case, certainly not all rights are with the buyer. Obviously consumer law and Ebay favours the buyer, as it should.
    Sellers using tracked delivery for high value items are unlikely to have any problems.

    Given the OP was asking about selling I was assuming you were implying he would inevitably have problems with buyers as he had no rights.

    It reads to me as if she expected someone to offer both services but that she wished to avail herself of the buying one to protect herself.
