Hi there, have posted before and had great advice so you techie people - thank you and here we go again!
History - have bought laptop with vista, running desktop with windows xp. Took approx 14 hours and lots of calls to linksys but finally got both to access internet.
After another 14 hours or so, got my laptop to print to printer which is connected to desktop pc - result. However, just went to print and am getting:-
1) On laptop - problem communicating with printer
2) When I turn on desktop following rundll error message "an exception occurred while trying to run lxctafcn.dll, device monitor request 22937" appears. However, desktop can print OK.
From my endless searches I know 'lxctafcn.dll' has something to do with lexmark printer but have no idea what and if the two problems are connected.
I downloaded lexmark vista drivers on both computers. Any ideas as to why it worked initially but wireless won't now? Can still access internet on both computers.
Thanking you all in advance but please keep any replies in simple terms as I am no techie myself!
