Lenovo netbook IE home page

I have re-installed windows XP on my friends Lenovo netbook, never used a Lenovo computer before.

I am trying to set the IE home page to https://www.msn.co.uk and it keeps redirecting to lenovo.uk.msn.com but I can't figure out why?

Any ideas?

No idea if this googled solution will work but worth a try.

To eliminate a computer’s company’s built in redirect:

Open IE browser; go to Tools

Go to Internet Options, then Security

Go to Trusted Sites, then Sites

Type in the name of the web site you want,
    for example, https://www.msn.com.

It will ask for an https: unclick "require server
verification," add site, then re-click verification

That should do it; if not, go to Restricted
Sites and add in the web site you don’t want, for example, https://www.dell.msn.com

goto msn.co.uk and get the page on the screen, then in ie click tools - internet options, then click "use current" on home page entry - click apply -click OK

Thanks for those replies - but neither worked!
