Hi there,
I bought a little basic digital camera/camcorder at Maplin (stores opening day) Brand is aiptek 6800s costs £89 on website but I got it for £50. It records onto sd card at max 640x480 not too bad recording during good lighting condition and a nice 2.5" tft screen with sound for playback. Should be ok for holidays and other events where I dont want to be carrying a expensive camcorder about, not that I have one anyway.
I love the idea of being able to record video onto sd cards, but probably the disadavantage is not great video. Have any of you had any experience of these basic camcorders and also the more expensive sanyo one costing over £300 I think?
I know vivator 510 is a similar basic one, missed it a few weeks ago when superdrug was selling them for £35.
