I lost faith in Experian when I got my first credit report and they'd linked me to the woman next door. As it happens she was harmless, but it spoke volumes about their attitude. They could have done me a great deal of totally unjustified damage and they wouldn't have given a toss."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0

I've just gotten Experian to send me 30 pages for the 3rd time due to their incompetence, but I still don't see why I should have to pay £2 for this0 -
Sorry to hear this, you must really be panicking.
I had the same problem getting onto Equifax and some of the verifications questions they asked me were definitely nothing to do with me, so not sure if they were red herrings. I ended up having to forward them a copy of my driving license and a utility bill, not sure if the questions are designed so you do have to call them up.
Just thinking if you want to get instant access to hopefully see what's maybe happened then you could register with Noddle which is free and can be accessed online - even though I had trouble with Equifax, I didn't with them. They were also really helpful when I wanted some changes making as my ex was still showing as a financial link and also a bank had linked me to an address I had no connection with, seemingly just as it was a similar house name and a near-ish town! I requested the changes online and they wrote to me about a week later to say they were sorted.
Good Luck!!
Thanks Emsjune,
I went on Noddle last night, so quick and easy, there didnt seem to be anything untoward there, although my credit rating was 2 out of 5, a tad disappointing but I guess cos I dont take out much credit or have a mortgage or loans maybe?
Will wait and see if tanything else comes up on the other 2!
The weird thing was my partner went on Noddle and it brought up 2 things with Wonga in November last year, he has never been near them, so flagged it up to Noddle.
Thanks
so much for your help, i got a quick response which was what i needed

Try and check with Experian as well as they are the most used, Noodle (Call Credit) are the least used
I wish you well, and hope everything is ok.0 -

Glad I could be of help Sam, I agree with other posters that Experian and Equifax are much more used, in terms of searches at least but a lot of creditors seem to report to all three now so if there were fraudulent accounts you'd expect them to show there. I just thought some instant access would be helpful while you wait for the others to come through - worrying about your partner's account if they've never used Wonga, just as well to check!0
