Virgin Wine Offer - be warned

Signed up for a good wine offer this week via MSE and got my delivery today. All good except I discovered I have inadvertantly joinerd a 'club' which will send me a case every 3 months unless I ring to cancel. As somone who does not read commercial emails much - (otherwise I may have realised sooner) this is not for me.

I have emailed Virgin immediatley to cancel 'membership' and hope this is effectrive -am surprised there was noit warning about this on MSE offer page!

Yeah a lot of the wine clubs do similar things - Laithwaites signed me up to a quarterly case despite nothing being in the email or invoice from the original order. I called and cancelled in time. I wasn't particularly annoyed as I'd got a good offer at around £4 a bottle for a case of 12 and then somehow received an extra case for free

Well I'm still waiting fr virgin to get back to me by email, so hope it's as easily solved!

To be fair, it is pretty clear from the T and C's about this. I know because I was going to order wine from their website but when I read the terms and conditions it did make it clear what you would be signing up for. Based on that, I decided not to order from them.

This same issue was also discussed on a thread on this forum not that long ago.
