Paypal wrongly debiting CC

Not sure if this is right place to post this warning. Also put on Credit card forum.
I paid for 4 items between 4th April and 15th April and used my normal Debit card to pay for these items and when I logged onto my credit card with Tesco's bank discovered to my horror that they also charged the same amounts to them as well. So if you have used or bought anything using paypal around this date using a debit card and also have a credit card lodged with Paypal check that they have not debited that too. If they have, then request a chargeback with your credit card provider if you authorised your debit card only. I am sorting mine out so do not need advice - this is just to let other know

Goodness, have you checked the community boards on ebay as if this was happening there is going to be alot of irritated people on there.
Just one thought, the bank payments aren't likely to fail are they? Sometimes there can be a delay in paypal putting hold on the funds to withdraw and the bank decllining- so it might look as though payment was amde but paypal know they have bounced and gone to your back up source. I might also be tempted to phone my bank and make sure the payments have actually gone.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No the bank payments did not fail they are fully debited as normal from bank which is what I authorised. This is down to something paypal have done - all I know is that my sign in screen changed recently (paypal) and yes it is the correct link not a phish/scam and I regularly de bug PC for key loggers etc. I have been doing it for years and am very careful.0

I got loads of unauthorised payments to my paypal account a few weeks a go - several hundred quids worth.
Paypal realised and took them all back - but makes you wonder.0
