Removing a non-accessible garage - impact on value?

Hi all,
There is a garage in the backyard that is not accessible anymore. There was a shared driveway that has been split up and fenced by the two properties sharing it.

The survey came out saying it has asbestos roof and is breaking. Does it bring down the value of the property? If yes, by how much appx?

Does £1000 seem a good estimate to remove the garage and dispose it?

Are you the potential buyer or seller?

If the seller I would get rid of it first.

If buyer then get a specialist firm round to have a look. Im aware of amounts higher than £1,000 to get rid of an old asbestos garage.

I'm the buyer. If I remove it later, would that make the house lose value?

Basically its a glorified shed, so unless you have real problems with storage I cant see it adversely affecting value, especially as any potential purchaser from you will be having the same thoughts re cost of removing etc.
