First direct and Post Office?

I am sure I received a letter/note some time ago that it will be soon possible to cash in cheques for your First Direct account at the Post Office counter.
I cannot find anything about it since. I looked at First Direct site but I just cannot find anything about cheques there.

Anyone else received this or did I dream it up??

They said you can pay cheques in at a post office, and that you can draw cash out there using your visa debit card. I don't remember anything about cashing cheques. Also can't remember whether it was a letter or just a message via online banking. Check your OLB messages - it may still be there. I deleted mine as I've no interest in banking at a PO.

I did check my inbox messages... Nothing there!
I want to find out when from (date) can you do that?
We have a PO in the village, while we haven't got HSBC bank anywhere near...

I don't remember reading this in any posted FD literature or message via the online banking service. I suggest you give them a call.

I did find these articles yesterday (and others),but they don't give you a date!!

8 May for HSBC. I assume its the same for First Direct.
