They didn't want the original - and I'm certainyl not paying to send it to them after taking nearly 3 years to sort this out for me! They wanted a 'certified' copy & the woman on the phone suggested paying a solicitor!
TBH I think it would be easier just to transfer my ISA out! :mad:0 -
I'm not sure I fully understand this thread, but in case this is of assistance to anyone, "original" [as described by Aegis] Birth, Marriage, Death etc. certificates are available from this government site at a cost of £9.25 including postage:
