Hello, I'm new. I have huge business debts from a partnership I left a few years ago. I have had a brief chat with an Insolvency Practitioner and he said Bankruptcy is the only way to go, given the level owed to HMRC. I have an appointment with him on Friday. I'm not sure what I should be doing beforehand if anything? So many thoughts and worries and questions ...

Hi Holly and welcome to the BR board :wave:

I would suggest that you copy this post and set up a new thread - there's a button for a new thread at the top of the form. The regulars will see your post then and be able to answer your questions and give you some help. There are also a lot of "stickies" at the top of the forum, you'll get lots of help from reading these as well.

You're in the right place for help, please try not to worry too much - easy for me to say, I know - but most things are solvable in some form or another.
