booked holiday to usa in November at travel agents paid deposit the next day went on website the same holiday with flights £400 cheaper so unfare :mad:

Shops have sales, it's the same thing. You picked when to buy, nobody forced you. Prices go up and down all the time. Would you moan at Tesco because bog rolls were 'on offer' and 10p cheaper they day after you bought some?0

It amazes me that people look on the web after they bought the holiday, surely the time to do so is before? Once you have booked any type of travel arrangements, stop looking for a cheaper price, its too late.0

I'd check with the travel agent. This happened to me once, they had a 24 hour cancellation policy though so agreed to refund me the difference. It's certainly worth looking into.0
