How to remove someone from credit report?

Hopefully this is the right place:

I looked at my credit report with Equifax this morning and under people I am financially associated with it lists my ex boyfriend (split in 2009)

It lists the product we had together, a joint savings account, with a date of 2006

It says on there that when applying for new credit companies will look at people your financially associated with.

So how can I get his name removed from my credit file??

You can't get it removed. You can apply for a notice of disassociation to be applied to your credit file but this will only apply to future credit agreements either of you take out. Any historic data will still show. Contact Equifax to get this done.
