Integrated appliances, can I take any of my free standing stuff

I am moving and getting a new kitchen, seen the one I want and currently planning it.
Can you let me know if I buy integrated fridge/freezer,dishwasher etc but want to keep my freestanding washer and separate drier, can I have kitchen doors put on them as long as there is enough insulation.
I'm hoping so as it will save me money.

Thanks
Jules

As far as I'm aware, if you want integrated appliances, then you must buy integrated.....normal cant be converted .

Knobs etc on integrated push in and disappear so doors can close etc
  • Thanks for that, a shame though, I will jave to sell what I have
  • Unfortunately integrated appliances are about twice the price.

    Never a truer word :)

although recently needed to replace my integrated dishwasher and was pleasantly suprised at the cost after trawling the net, so it appears some integrated appliances are becoming more 'in-line' with freestanding ones........unless you go for the more expensive names.

mostly true but often we integrate f/s washer and dryers with custom made furniture which works out much cheaper than integ wm and the specs on fs wm much better but its not straightforward

Be very careful, some integrated stuff is not what it seems.

Big market, big profits to be had. ;)

We've had serious issues lately with some integrated appliances, especially those coming from China. They seem cheap, but with failure rates as high as 47+% you don't wanna know.
