Transfer from airport to hotel (USA)

Spoilheap

Could really do with some help here please. Going on mega trip to US in June and would like some help on the best way to transfer from airport to hotel and vice versa.

The destinations are Los Angeles; Las Vegas; San Francisco and New York.

Is it best/cheapest to take a taxi or bus or coach or ????

Any suggestions would be very welcome, thanks for your time.

Cheers

We went to San Francisco in March and found the cheapest way was to get a shuttle bus from the airport. It was a mini bus that dropped off at all the various hotels of the passengers. Whilst not as quick as a taxi, it was about half the price. No need to book and they were located just outside the terminal building.

Some hotels have their own free shuttle bus, it could be worth checking on their website, some taxi services are priced by zone again this could be checked via the airport website. Like gladysrocker we have also picked up a shuttle bus at the airport and they were quite reasonable to get from airport to hotel, not sure if they do a pick up at the hotel?

We took the same shuttle bus back to the airport, just got the concierge to ring up and book it for us. It was really convenient.
