Am looking for a decently priced micro SD memory card for my mobile. Plan to use the mobile to make short video clips. Looking at some websites I think 16Gb works out cheaper than 8Gb if you compare the price per Gb.

Do you reckon 16Gb is enough?

What class should I go for?

Have you come across any bargins?

Thanks
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

as with everything memory related you want to go for as much as possible within your budget. Ideally class 10 is the fastest and that's the best to go for (if you can afford it).

More is good in everything related to memory.

    hope this helps

Class 6 is fast enough, indeed class 4 would probably do. You're not looking at over 40Mbps, probably dramatically lower, and I know class 6 is plenty for high bitrate DSLR filming let alone phone camera.

16 is plenty for now, and if in 6 months it isn't, get another 16 card and it'll be even cheaper by then. Just for perspective, 16GB is just about 4 DVD's. It's a lot. Especially if you delete the rubbish occasionally.

You still haven't confirmed the max your phone can use.
16GB for £5 is no good if your phone is limited to 8GB.
    Move along, nothing to see.
