 It will acknowledge any file system you like with the correct driver, just as any device will.Windows (Microsoft) refuses to acknowledge any File system other than NTFS and FAT. ^_^Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
 Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
 Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
 Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0

            So I think I've finally go this sorted now, went on WD site and downloaded their External USB/FireWire Fat32 Formatting Utility connected up the drive and opened the Formatting Utility and I could see the drive hit the start button gave it a few minutes and all was sorted.
