I can confirm they don't, when I took out my mortgage at Nationwide they pulled my Ex file in front of me; it brings up a list of accounts, but they say things like "credit card, current account, communications provider, etc etc" - definitely not the lender.

All the other info (payment history, limit, balance, etc) is there though.

I use experian & equifax every day in my job and I can assure you the lenders names are not visible.
