    What I reallywant to know is - how are those of us who don't have a car supposed to get there? Will Translink 'step up to the plate' to provide a decent transport service to it?

    Don't be silly, I mean our international airport doesn't even have a rail link they are saying it could take another decade for that to even happen.

    they'll do a special deal on black taxis, with a tour along the peace walls included ;)

    Can't see it haha, the bus is handy for me as I am usually in Belfast with my girlfriend but anywhere else and you have to get a lift/get to Belfast. Translink are the biggest joke.

    I feel sorry for the people who live in that area. I mean let's face it, it's lovely and quiet at the moment. There's going to be mass construction traffic, widening of roads and such an increase in traffic.

    Another countryside idyll destroyed.

    Yup. Just got 3 taxi quotes to get me to the airport next weekend: £50-£55 :eek::eek:

    Trains/buses no good coz of the timing. OH can give me a lift but considering it's stupid o'clock in the morning I figured I'd let him lie in bed. No such luck for him by the looks of things. Other option is to just borrow his car and parking it there while I'm away, leaving him car-less for the weekend.
