that was very rude and you didn't need that. i would disregard what that other poster said as well. i can see that, from a devil's advocate point of view, that may have been what the OR was thinking, which is unnecessary and pointless, but that was just nastiness taking the time to type that. Just disregard any negative comments and judgements.

i was dreading my call with mine, esp as they didn't call within the 2 days and i left it a couple more days before calling them. turns out she needed to take emergency leave, and apologised, and arranged the call for today.

she was friendly but professional, but did ask some questions i wasn't prepared for, and i was just honest, and said, "sorry, i don't want to give you inaccurate information based on memory." she'd only asked me to have my copy of the form at hand. in short, i kind of went over my story about how i ended up in debt and why i'm not working atm and in the situation i'm in - basically repeating what i'd put on the form. i'd forgotten to put on my savings account (really don't know how that happened), but i apologised and duly gave her the details, but she was fine about it. she then reeled off what to expect of them, what they expect of me (which is basically nothing unless i find work). and that's it.

it's bound to be nerve-wracking. but it won't be a long call (although i think my case is straightforward; i have no assets), and you can have a nice cuppa and a bit of cake afterwards. now.... i need some cake.

Hey Sunshine  (what a lovely positive Username!!!)

I was just "passing" as it were and read your thread. I wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow too and say that it probably won't be as bad as you're imagining and if it is, then keep hold of the fact that it's a short term pain for long term gain :wall: and the meeting will come to an end. Then you can rush out and dive into a reward chocolate bar :EasterBun

You're incredibly brave to consider bankruptcy - I can't imagine what it must be like for you - so you obviously have hidden inner strengths. Don't let some nasty jobsworth deflect you from the cause :naughty: (I always imagine them naked - it takes all the sting out,but you have to try not to laugh out loud!:rotfl::rotfl:)

And certainly ignore posts like that other one  some folk have nowt better to do that pass judgement on other folk - it makes them feel special. They are "special" but not in a way that they think they are!!:rotfl:

Let us know how you get on!

Chin up the phone call is not as bad as you think I promise it's scary to go through everything but at the end of it they are helping as they write to all the creditors make sure you don't miss anything. Best of luck once it's done you will wonder what all the fuss was about and you can feel relieved xxx
