I just noticed something:
I am gradually changing my listings to free post
The ones that are freepost 1st class delivery get a little truck next to them 'FAST & FREE - Get it by xxx'

But not the 2nd class freepost.

Will it make a difference! I also offer 1st class on all my listings for an extra 50p!

This has been there for a few months... I think it only makes a difference if you sort by Best Match, or if shiny things make you more likely to bid even if you pay more overall.

I don't think there is actually much difference in average delivery times for 1st and 2nd class post (certainly not nearly as big a difference as Royal Mail would have us believe) but many customers seem to believe there is.
