Or buy something for £2000 and have a very good holiday or lots of good holidays?
Just goes to show that in 3 years you will have lost nearly £5000 in depreciation and more with the servicing etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Only you can answer that. It depends how much having a newer car matters to you.
Out of curiousity, what is the 'similar mileage', and is the 2012 car the new or old model (both were sold that year I think)?0 -
Thing is, Although its a money saving website... Many people actually have a pot to !!!! in and can spend 11k 16k 20k upwards on a car and still go on holiday as regular as they like...Not everybody has the limitations or desire to buy a cheap car...
Life to many is too short perhaps to be doing reasonable mileage day out day in.....in an old 2k Mondeo or something someone thinks is worthy of a long winded waffle in the bangernomics thread.
Trundling around between home, post office ,allotment and forum dwelling or a throwway workhorse and i can easily see a cheaper car ticking the boxes....
My Money outta them 2?.. I'd be after the Sport spec...0 -
I agree with Flying High - not everyone wants to drive around in a £2,000 car. I personally enjoy driving and would rather get the best I can afford and the safest for my family.
I'd also go for the Sport out of the two as I prefer the styling and handling.0
