car insurance - was this policy "cancelled"?

Might be better to 'clarify' what happened n WRITING - a DD glitch or whatever, adding that at no time was insurance cancelled due to any claim aim or restriction.
If there is no adverse response, she's made a full disclosure. If they cancel - she's really no worse off.
I would not worry too much about this. There is no issue of the previous policy being cancelled due to non disclosure of issues affecting the risk or fraud or some other serious issue. The policy was cancelled due to a payment issue.
I doubt this would ever be raised as an issue and if it is, then as long as it was only a payment issue, then I can see no potential of this affecting them.
Suggest that in future that if they are unsure about what they need to disclose, that they should be phoning companies or brokers to obtain quotes and to arrange policies. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
