Chromebook Problem

I bought a Samsung Chromebook a couple of months ago, yesterday it froze, I turned it off and when I turned it back on again the screen has turned negative (as in a photograph). Does anybody know if there's a quick fix for this or is it a job for the guarantee/computer shop?

Everything else seems to be working perfectly well (as you can see) and there's still colours, but not in the usual places.

As we can see? Most likely a connection or panel issue if there are no other symptoms (like slow down, system freezes). Depending on how confident you are you could take it apart and look for the connector between panel and motherboard and check it needs further securing. If it's not that you'd require the panel replaced and you'd have to send away for that anyway.

Probably best to call Samsung support.

It's two months old and that's a weird fault. IMO it needs to go back to the seller as it's them that your guarantee is with. Fiddling around with it without knowing what you're doing will just invalidate the guarantee.
