Got me a ebay voucher!

Hi all
Ebay have given me an £11 voucher to cover my return postage costs on something that was snad.
Now my question is this: When I use it, does the seller still get this £11 paid to them by ebay/paypal or do they have it taken off their sale price by ebay?
Obviously I would need to think carefully about how and where to use it if the seller looses £11.
