When we moved we had the people up the chain pushing to complete but the date they gave would have cost me an extra £900 in rent and mortgage. They went bothered about my cost and kept pushing, in the end I got my solicitor to push back and say that I would have to take the money from the selling price if they wanted that day, and if needs be they would have to recoup the money up the chain.
Why don't you go up the chain to ask them to speed up or pay some towards the cost.0 -
The people up the chain are doing very well
My offer included for them to break the chain, which was based on them moving into their other property which is rented, so clause was they needed to give 2 months to their tenants which they have done0
