Hi there, Im a bit confused about all of this and starting to get concerned. I started my current OU course at the beginning of this month, my financial support application was all processed and authorised back in February.
I logged onto my student finance account the other day to see if my payments for this year had been logged yet and I saw there was no record of this years application at all. I rang them and they confirmed they have nothing on me since 2011 (the last time I received financial support), and said to go back to OU and check they have sent it to them.
OU insist everything is fine their end, so I go back to SFW.
SFW now say they are concerned and ask me to call OU and tell them to call sfw about this. Upon doing so, the advisor at the OU says SFW actually "claimed" my course grant on the 7th April, and should have paid it to me. We checked all my bank details are correct and everything is.
Im getting worried now that something gone very wrong, I really need to get a new computer to continue my studies as mine has packed in so am currently confined to the local library.
I don't know where to turn next as both OU and SFW are passing me back and forth and no one has the answers. Please help
