in Credit cards
Hi all,
I wanted to see what my credit profile was looking like and Equifax have me scored reasonably low, I have a good credit rating on experian of over 900 and just wondered why this is so different.....
The credit agreements link on my Equifax profile is yellow, but it doesn't explain why as all of the agreements listed are either settled or up to date....
Can anyone help with this?

Because they each have their own ways of creating a score for you. But as neither are worth anything, it's not important.
Only the data itself has any value.0 -
Ok cool enough...
so basically I need to just knuckle down and sort it myself as Equifax, realistically, isn't worth the paper it will be written on...0 -
Basically, yes. All you can do is run your accounts well, be on the electoral roll and check the details are correct. Whatever score they decide to give you as a result is neither here nor there. Lenders will look at how you manage your accounts before deciding whether to lend or not.0

The reason behind this was being declined on a balance transfer card I applied for.
I can see why, I think, so I will cancel off an old card with a decent limit and give it a few months, continuing to pay capital one there interest *shakesfist*0 -
Eqifax's coloured profile is nonsense. Doesn't matter what Equifax think of your report or what score they give you. It's just a marketing gimmick.
The factualinfo on your report is all that matters.Still rolling rolling rolling......<

Yeah.... I run my accounts reasonably poop.... Well I don't but a number of unavoidable circumstances have meant my decent into madness if you will....
