Address change notification

If you move house and can't get to your branch in person is it simply a case of sending your bank a completed & signed change of address form? Or do they also demand proof of the new address? I assume it can't be done online/on the phone for security reasons.

A change of address form should be fine.
It only gets messy if they do not have a copy of your signature to compare against.

A signed letter confirming the change of address sent to the bank will do fine. Also usually the address change can be done through your bank's telephone and internet bank services.
