Adding Interest to Invoices

I overpaid a Project Manager recently (legit - the acounts weren't up to date). He has since refused to acknowledge or reply to any contact. I'm aware that interest can be added to invoices that exceed the agreed credit terms but can I add interest to the overpayment reclaim? His invoices were always paid on presentation, so no credit terms were ever offered or implied either way.

It depends I suppose on your contract terms & conditions, although by the sounds of it there aren't any.

I posted on DT first and got some interesting replies on "restitution".Apparently, if you lose one sense, others senses are enhanced. That's why those who have no sense of humour have an enlarged sense of self-importance.0
