I've a weird prob & cant seem to find out an answer why?
I've an internal multicard reader fitted to my packard bell Ipower 6600 & upgraded the OS to vista Home Prem....since the vista upgrade every time I try to format a 2GB SD card I use for camera/sat nav etc the format completes but the disk only shows 986MB somewhere i'm missing a lot more storage & dunno why? this reader worked when the system had xp home showed the full available SD card as oppose to now missing over 1GB of storage......
Any Ideas?

Hi
Normally if you're going to use in a camera the advice is that you should only use the format option on the camera itself, because sometimes Windows formats the card differently, in a way where some of the "hidden" parts are unavailable. Try formatting in the camera, and then see how much space there is available.0 -
thanks for that...already tried that & still no joy

the only place one of the SD cards reads 2GB is when I dock wth sat nav...very annoying! We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
