private parking cpn fine

Work at my local hospital I pay £15 a month out of my wage to park on site in january 2013 when there had been heavy snowfall I parked in a bay with my valid ticket on display when I came of shift I had a cpn stuck to the windscreen stating I was parked over the line so could I pay £70 for this infraction. As I had been on shift for 8 hrs I thought this is someone playing a joke as you could not see the road never mind the white line. As I did not respond to car parking partnership they say I am in breach of parking rules & if I don't pay they will take me to court & send debt collectors round to retieve there losses can someone please advise me whether they can do this or simplly ignore these demanding letters

They won't take you to court and the boys won't turn up at your door. This is just a money making scam by this company and if they were managing this car park they should have cleared the snow so you could park.
The advise is to ignore them, there is no loss to them or the hospital, they would be completely insane to issue a small claim in this case, it would be defended very easily. Could you tell us which hospital it is?When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Thanks for reply scun!horpe general where car parking partnership runs things all staff are issued badges when you pay from your wage and you display this in the windscreen & also on a computer in security they know where you work so could have c:ontacted me & ask me to move it if it was illegally parked . Thanks again for your reply0
