Update...
I paid off early. well before the 13month 'rule' given by the salesman.
I just made an overpayment via the on-line option on the Hitachi Website.
I then spoke to Hitachi who confirmed that the contract was now closed as I had paid in full. I then cancelled the Direct Debit.

And the Anglian Windows are good. Happy with them. Had a couple of snagging issues after the install, and they came back and rectified with no question. good luck guys.

Thanks for posting your comment. I am not sure how to determine if my quote is too much. I think my list price was in the £20k+ region, but the price quoted on the Personal Illustration as a cash price looks quite high to me:

Cash Price £11468
Anglian Gold Amount of credit for goods £8585
Promotional discount £17174
Gold Account discount £2784

So nominally the £8585 is the amount I pay plus any credit I incur by not paying off early.

Is it possible to tell from the above figures what the list price was so that I can work out what the minimum I could pay would be? Is the list price you describe the price they come in with at the start of the sale and immediately cut by a huge amount or is it the first price they write down on the illustration?

(BTW the windows are 5 X 3 pane, 2 X 2, 4 X 1, 1 X Patio doors, 1 X Back door).
