Cheap oil is generally crap and will give you problems with the car in the future. Dont buy the cheapest get something which is reasonable.

Thanks, I probably should have phrased it better. I wasn't looking for cheap brand oil itself, rather cheaper branded oil. I generally use GTX Magnetec 5W/30 but I've noticed the price of 5ltrs varies greatly from place to place.0

Try looking in your Yellow Pages for a local motor factors. The larger national ones like Partco are usually pretty cheap.
I can't remember if Partco use their own brand consumables or not, but if they do their own brand is usually pretty good stuff.0
