  • Its not Windows:D its Android.

Most people will tell you Android devices do not get viruses But Avast or Avg from the Playstore will be good for you.

I recently bought Kaspersky Internet Security on Amazon, for 3 PC's and got a free license for my Android tablet. You can also download a 1 month trial from the Kaspersky website or the Google Play store.

You are more likely to get the tablet stolen ( or lost) than a virus

Yeah, it's an Android. I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and since I do not install apps from any other sites than Google Play I think I don't need an antivirus app. I don't do banking either, so I guess nothing to lose here.

There have been more than enough "rogue" applications make their way to the Google Play store before someone realised just how malicious they can be and they were removed.

Lookout Mobile Security does a fairly good job for free.
