Same agent - different property - different branch

Hi All,
I've found a flat I like the look of, however it is in a different area to where I currently live, not too far, but covered by a different branch.
I currently share with a flatmate - we're now going our separate ways, however, we are both named on the AST for our flat.
Would another branch of the agency insist on re-referencing me and charging the whole array of fees that come with it (this agent is particularly expensive, the fees for this flat came to more than a full month's rent when VAT was added).
Would this be standard practice for a LA regardless of whether I live in one of their current properties or not?
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks
