What do you mean, backdated letters? If you mean that the letters were dated earlier than the postmarks it proves nothing except that the CC company didn't send them out promptly.0 -

And by doing so have failed in their obligations!
The letters are dated between two and five days earlier than the postmarks.
Based on the dates on the letters they have complied (just) with their complaint handling procedures. However, based on the postmarks they have not.
So, either they are incompetent or dishonest!0
