Hubby going back to work

Hi all,
My Hubby has been out of work for six weeks - since 2nd April 07. In the mean time I have claimed income support for both of us as a couple. I also claim carers allowance as our daughters recieves DLA high care and high mobility elements. My hubby has been for a job interview today and it looks as though he may be offered the job as they seemed quite keen. The job is 30hrs per week van driving at £6.25 per hour.
At the moment we are getting 71.30 per week income support
96.40 child tax credits (including severe disability element)
18.10 per week child benefit
48.65 per week carers allowance
Our rent is 60.30 and that is being paid in full and our council tax 800 and something - sorry - is being paid in full too.
Our daughter is also receiving free school meals.
I would like my hubby to take this job and my hubby would like to take it too as he has never been out of work and is starting to get bored at home.
Seeing that it is only for 30 hours per week, I can see that he will not be earning very much and inevitably our child tax credits will go down too.
I'm hoping that we will be able to manage. So I'm hoping someone on here may be able to help with what we may still be entitled to. Have tried entitledto.com but it says on there that we would get no help with our rent and council tax at all. Starting to wonder whether we would be better off living on benefits.
For child tax purposes if anyone can help, I earned 48.65 per week last year -carers allowance and my hubby earned 18,400
Hope someone can help us out.
Kind Regards
Em
ps if you need any details of outgoing etc will be happy to provide

I'm rubbish at doing TC calcs so I suggest ringing the TC helpline and ask them how much WTC and CTC you're likely to get. You've then got the income details for a HB and CTB calculation and can do a 'better off' asessment.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
