Radiator key is too big

hi there does anyone have any tips to help me out??
I need to bleed the radiators and I have a little gold radiator key but it seems just a tad too big for the radiator. It grips a little and then keeps just slipping round so I can;t unlock to bleed. Anyone have a clue as to a little tip that I could use to make it grip and fit better at all?
Or another tip for bleeding the radiator??
many thanks

Either the socket in the key has been "rounded off" or the same has happened to the valve head in the radiator.
Try a pair of snipe nose pliers.0 -
Keys cost almost nothing from a builders merchants, assuming the key is the problem. Also, sometimes the centre of the doodah (technical term) on the radiator is slotted and accepts a scewdriver.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
